A friend of ours has a baby and he is a couple years old and I love his name. They named him Matisse after the painter. I could give you a long list of Dutch names too, but I don't know if you could pronounce then LOL
I like Gunder but it might be to close Gunnar. We like Lars and Torsten. Genesis is helping its sweet he likes Olaf as nice of a name it reminds me of a old man. I like Jørgen a lot we have a nice list and thanks for helping add to it it does help a lot.
And Penny Matisse is a pretty name though I would feel a bit pretentious naming my little guy after a painter when I am not big follower of art. Are their any Dutch names that are nice. A lot of dutch names are also used in Norway I have read.
I think that I am the only one who uses Norse names. Children always take their fathers name and this is my way of giving our children a little piece of my heritage. I was impressed with the names my aunt Sonja gave. I sit online and go through names for months and she pulled out a bunch that are great in no time. I like Geirstein also so this will be hard. I was looking yesterday and found a Lincoln Lathrop but I am not sure how to use it so we will see. I love how it sounds.

I do love the help!
I like Lars. Wish I could help more with the Nordic names, but our ancestry has more irish and french in our background.
