Sasha's Eyes

Well two nights ago Sasha said things were blurry when she was reading sometimes. So I got her in to the eye Dr this morning. Turns out she has 20/20 vision and everything is fine.
When we got back to the car she asked me when we got to go and glasses. I explained that the Dr said her vision is fine and no glasses are needed at this time.
Sasha was very sad and I asked was their a reason you wanted glasses and her answer was he big brother has them so she wanted them.

It was so sweet.

Sasha Reading

Well I am so proud of Sasha and her reading.
Tonight she read me 3 stories from her advanced reading book she has from school. Its so strange to have bedtime stories read to me.
She just asked for one short one in return then she was out for the night. .
I see her growing up so fast she has started to not wanting to watch the Disney princess animated movies and she wants the more grown up moves. She picks out her own clothes every day for school and she does a wonderful job. She is always amazing us with what she can tell us and explain how things work.
Luke and I are so proud of what a wonderful and sweet little girl Sasha is.

First Hair Cut

Well Saturday was a fun day Atticus got his first hair cut. He loved the little airplane and he looks like a big boy now. His little curls are gone. Daddy even got his hair cut.
Sasha and Genesis went to the movies with Jill and Jason to see Monsters Vs Aliens in 3D. I hear it was pretty good and Sasha ate the whole large popcorn. I think she is growing she also ate a footlong sub after the movie.
Sunday Daddy went and got donuts for us as he normally does on Sunday. Then we went to Lowes to get more strawberry plants and cement to make a pot for plants.

Sasha and Scouts

Well last night Sasha went to the Girl Scout troop for the younger girls the Daisy's. She told me she liked the other troop better but she would start out as a Brownie. So Thursday night we are going to go back to the troop with the girls that are 1st grade and up again just to see.

\It was cute when I asked Sasha why she wanted to e in the older troop and she said they play hide and go seek. The Daisy's do crafts and all the girls are in Kindergarten.

So we will see Luke and I are just happy we are getting her in the scouts.

Oh and Genesis now has 5 new Merritt badges.

Photos from spring break

Spring Break Weekend

Well Luke took off Friday from work so we could go to Houston to visit.
We stopped at the park on the way and had a picnic lunch and the kids played. When we got to Houston Sasha and I went to the park and meet up with my old friend Becca for a hour and the kids played. Luke and Mike watched Atticus till we got back.
Saturday we all went to the Children's Museum of Houston and it was a blast. Sasha only got to see half of the museum she would spend so much time on one activities that we ran out of time. Atticus just loved everything especially the outside water play area. We left in time to get home to see Grandma Sherri for a while. She had to work that Saturday so she missed out on the museum. We had dinner and drove home. The kids slept and we were home by 11:30 pm and we had he whole day Sunday to relax and get things done. Sasha went to the movies with Jill and Jason. Luke finished the wiring in the house now every room is connected to the network and has cable. I tried to clean and get caught up. Genesis mowed the lawn and cleaned his room and got his camping stuff put away.

Spring Break

Spring break has been fun so far lots of outdoor play. Monday Sasha made a little fort with the umbrella and put the sprinkler on and she stayed dry she had a pool on the side it was sweet. Atticus even got involved in the action. They tore the umbrella up in all the fun but they had a blast playing together. We went and got hot fudge sundays as a treat. Monday night Sasha was sick and she is still not all herself. Tuesday in teh moring we had to get a few things done. Then in the after noon we went to the park and we all played and had fun. Atticus was sick last night and this morning. We are hoping that that is the end of it and no one else gets sick. Genesis got home around midnight last night. Hope he took photos for me to share.

Sick

Well Sasha was sick on Monday night and as of bedtime last night Atticus is sick. What a spring break. I will be updating everyone later today on what we have been up to.

Weekend Update

Friday we got Genesis all ready for his long camping trip. He left Saturday morning for 5 nights. We just found out that hes having a hard time with all the hiking and is staying at the base camp with the younger kids.
Saturday was fun Sasha got her yellow belt in Karate, she tested so well and we were so proud of her. After Luke got home from wring the morning we went over to Jill and Jasons and Luke helped Jason make a mess running cables Poor Jill. Then we went out to a Chinese buffet and we will be going back again the food was great.
Sunday we relaxed in the morning went to Lowes and got what Luke needed to finish the wiring in our house. Then Jill and Jason watched Atticus and Sasha while we got to see the Watchmen and it was a great movie. I would of been sad if I did not get to see it in the theater. The kids got to go to the park for a while till Sasha went and jumped in the water. After the movie we all went out to Chilis for a dinner to congratulate Sasha on her yellow belt. On the way home we went to Sonic .
Monday Sasha was sick she seems to be doing a lot better today!

What a weekend

Well Friday night Sasha and Genesis had a night out at Karate. From 5:15 to 10:30 they played games practiced karate and watched a movie. After that it was straight to bed. Jill and Jason came over in the morning and off they all went to Sea World for the day. I hear that Sasha loves the big girl roller coasters and Genesis screams like a girl on them. They were all pooped Sasha was asleep when they got home and Genesis just sat on the computer till bed time. I am waiting for a photo from Genesis hope he gets it to me soon.
Sunday morning we relaxed and got a few things done around the house. Jill and Jason came back to take Genesis to hit some golf balls. Seems it was harder than Genesis thought it would be, Jill said he seemed to like it. After they were done they came back and Luke put Jason to work helping him wire the house with cable and Internet. The goal if to have it in every room.
Jill was so sweet and took Sasha and Atticus to the park for several hours. I stayed home and cleaned and wow what you can get dont with not interruptions. Jill said it was cute that Sasha would refer to her brother and the baby when she was talking to other kids. Poor Atticus soon he will have a little buddy well by Christmas they will get around a bit.

Update videos and photos

Atticus still loves playing with water. With it getting warm and our garden planted we go out every morning to water. Atticus get a hose and so do I and he has figured out that if you crimp the hose then let it go it sprays out water. Its so cute. I think he is going to need a water table for this summer to play in.

Yesterday Atticus received his new car seat in the mail. The box was a hit! Atticus and Sasha were getting in and playing with it. Then Genesis and Sasha started playing Sasha would get it and Genesis would close it and roll her around, Atticus even helped a little. It was a lot of fun for them till the box stared falling apart.

Atticus thinks its the greatest thing in the world to sit and watch cartoons next to his big brother and big sister. He is the sweetest little boy.

When I posted about the scouts last night I forgot to add something. Daddy watched Atticus while we were gone. When we came home I walk in and Daddy is on the bed with Atticus asleep next to him. Atticus fell asleep during story time.

Sasha Scouts

Well last night Sasha had her first Girl Scout meeting. She had a blast and the troop seemed really nice and active. This troop is a little older girls and we are going to have her go to one more meeting with another troop to see what one she likes best.
Oh and sounds like Sasha will get her yellow belt in Karate very soon.
Genesis is doing very well in Karate and advancing nicely. He is keeping busy and loving it.
Atticus is Mr independent for the last several weeks. In the store he has to help put grocery's in the cart./ He still wants to help with laundry and watering the yard. Raking the garden and feeding the fish in Sasha's room. He even climbs up on Daddy's motorcycle in the morning before Luke leaves.
He is trying to say a lot more. We have been working with diaper both signing and saying the word so he can tell me when hes uncomfortable.
I am still trying to get good video of our little music man. He still dances all over when you have music playing. Oh an the est is when he imitates you making fish faces , I need Daddy's help with getting video of that. He has been doing it the last month and its so much fun.

Weekend update

I got so excited that I did not post about our weekend.
Friday night Sasha spent the night with all the girls Grandma, Aunt Jill , Aunt Melynda, Evalynn and GGP. Saturday Atticus and I drove up to meet them and we all had a wonderful time. Its so nice to be able to get together and just relax and have fun.
Sunday we went home got the guys fed I was pooped so we missed the kite festival but we were still busy.

Just for fun

This was Atticus at about 28 weeks. Luke and I thought it would be fun to look at both together. Its amazing how much this looks like out Atticus. Our newest little one is still just under a pound and will be gaining more weight as time goes on. We are planing another 3D ultrasound to get more photos and a video like we did with Atticus.
