Christmas morning was a blast. Sasha got her huge doll house and it was fully furnished and she got barbies to go with it. Genesis got his wireless mouse more stuff for his camera and SD cards for his stuff and even a call phone that rings the Dr who theme thanks to Luke. Atticus got a wagon filled with legos and a dinosaur ball pit. We went over to Mylenda and Todd's for Christmas dinner. Todd smoked the turkey and ham and WOW was it great. I am thinking thats what we need to get one of these day. Everything seems to taste better when its smoked. Lukes grandparents came and GGP Billi was their. I have to say that little Evalynn is so good she slept through all the noise and all the people running around. My kids would never sleep through that much . Well Hope everyone had a Great Christmas! I miss and love everyone back home. Its had not being able to be with my family on the holidays.

Trail Of Lights

Saturday night we went to the Trail of Lights in Austin. Its a even put on every year and its free to the public. Last year Luke and I missed it we were in the hospital with Atticus and a little busy. Atticus really enjoyed the lights expecially the tunnels you walked through with the lights all around you. Genesis and Sasha had fun and Sasha got to see Santa again. It was a little overwhelming with so many people so next year we will go on a week night. Melynda, Todd and Little Evalynn came Jill and Jason even came. Atticus was not happy by the time we meet up with all of them so I took him to a area he could run around and that helped a lot.

Friday 50's party and Christmas party

Friday was a fun and busy day for us. Every year Sasha's school has a 50's party dance. I made her a poodle skirt and she looked so cute. Little boys follow Ms Sasha around all over and seem lost if she does not play. Well we had lunch with her like most Fridays. Then the party for the class. It was fun they decorated cookies and had fruit and veggies. Then they got bags of goodies from the teacher. One of Sasha's friends is so good with Atticus and he just heps him and plays with him.
After school Sasha decorated the gingerbread house and she did a great job. She only ate a small amount of the candy!

Atticus 1st Birthday

Dec 14th
Sorry about being slow with the photos of Atticus's birthday. For dinner we had home made Mac and cheese and sausage, one of Atticus favorites. He had his cake that was a Lego. I could not find my bright blue coloring so it was lighter than I wanted it. As you can see he had a blast and ate a lot of cake.

Decorating the Tree

Decorating the Tree a few weeks ago. With my camera mess having to use my old one some photos were not taken off till today. These are from 2 weeks ago when Sasha and Atticus Decorated tree. The tree is small but real. With Atticus and our big Sarah a large tree was not a good idea at all.
I love teh first one with Atticus and big brother Atticus.

Sasha's Birthday Swim Party

Well Sasha's Birthday was a blast. Swimming was a hit with all the kids but all kids love water. The party was Barbie for the girls and Star wars for the boys. Sasha had so many many of her friends who came to celebrate her 6th Birthday. Great grandma even made it and Grandma and Granddad and Aunt Jill and Jason. The gifts that Sasha received were so sweet. She got barbies, art sets, Beat kits and even a princess tea set. We got her a pink DS she was a little surprised to say the least. At the end of the party Grandma Sherri brought stuff to make mini lava lamps. They were baby soda bottles oil and colored water and you put a small alka-seltzer in and close the bottle and it bubbles up. That was a hit! All the kids took home a Barbie or Star wars cup and a light wand and a book. We are very lucky that Sasha has such sweet friends to play with. Oh and her friend Christian is a nut!
Till next year who knows what we will do next. Its so hard with winter birthdays..

Atticus got his Birthday gifts and he got a great learning truck from Melynda and Todd. A computer game for the TV for babies and a bouncing Tigger from Jason and Jill and Grandma and Granddad got him a game and a 3 in one sports center that he LOVES. He is such a boy when it comes to playing with boy stuff. At first it was not very exciting for Atticus to open gifts then he realized all the fun stuff in the boxes he got excited. Sasha Loves holding little EV I think she is in love and would love to bring her home with us, its so cute. As you can tell Sasha is so excited. Sahsa is excited to have her new pink DS she told Daddy its better than TV. The first one is from Lunch with Sasha on Friday. I love the photo of Luke.

South Park Meadows Laser Light show

Well our neighbor down the street stopped me on our walk home from school to tell us about the South Park Meadows Laser Light show. It was so pretty and the kids did great. Atticus just watched the lights and Sasha and Genesis ate while the show was going. When it was over Sasha played for a short while. Photos will be added later. Daddy was at work so he missed it.

Atticus Helping with cake

Now for Atticus part in the cake making. He knows that if its in the mixer it must be good. He has seen Sasha get stuff and lick the beaters. So I was mixing and he would point and look at me and sounds like he is saying "Eat" . When ever we give Atticus food we tell him EAT. I want to make Atticus a Lego cake for sunday and home made mac and cheese.

Working on Sasha's Birthday cake

Well Yesterday I made a homemade vanilla cake that was like a wedding cake. I had Sasha try it and she did not want vanilla today I made a strawberry cake and made buttercream frosting. I rolled the fondant and covered the cake and waited to do the rest till Sasha was home. Truth be told it took that long so Sasha helped with decorating and making the flowers. It turned out adorable making cakes for kids birthdays is so special and its something they will remember. Anyone can buy one and yes its easier and a lot of times cost less to buy one but the fun and the joy of helping is so worth it. I felt bad that last year I was not feeling well and having Attiucs so making a cake was out of the question and the year before we were moving and no home made cake but Jill did have one waiting for Sasha. Every year before it has been a home made one so we start again with our tradition. I did the same thing for Genesis when he was young. The dolls hair is still up till the day of the party. Oh and out of 4 photos with Sasha she had her eyes closed in all of them.

Sarah groomed

Well I just had to post this about our big goofy dog. Sarah went to the groomer to get washed and nails clipped.. When I got her the lady had written me a personal note telling me that Sarah was the sweetest dog and by far her favorite golden she had ever meet. To say the lease I was shocked and proud of our Sarah. She got bows and looks like dean koontz golden retriever Trixie in the book Christmas is good.

Sights and sounds of Christmas and Breakfast with Santa

Saturday has been a fun day. This morning I took the kids to a pancakes with Santa in Buda Luke was a sweetie and worked on my computer. Genesis and Sasha made frames and the photo turned out cute. Atticus wandered around and was trying to get in trouble getting into the stereo case so that was fun.
Sights and sounds of Christmas was in San Marcos and Sasha played in the fake snow jumped on the bouncing ride.

Atticus just had fun walking around looking at everything.
