Moms Dinner

Tonight was the Moms club dinner. It was so nice to get out and see all the moms again. I sure have missed them.

Best days

Some of our best days as a family are when we stay at home.
Today was so much fun. We played, then went to the pool. Grilled burgers and got to see Jill and Jasons new F150.
No stress and the kids just enjoyed themselves.

Ethans First Birthday

Lunch

We packed a lunch and we went to five mile dam.

children's museum

Today was Sasha's last day of school. I had a apt at 9 and we rushed over to her party. When it ended we drove to the Childrens museum near Lukes work. Kids had a blast running around playing and just enjoying life.

I was cutting watermelon tonight. Atticus and Lincoln were at the counter on a chair watching. Atticus told Lincoln remember you are strong because you have mussels.
Atticus is a amazing kid with such kindness and insight :)

Today Lincoln went to the fridge and got himself a apple. What's great about this is he also got Atticus a apple. Not even 3 and he knows to share.
We have our moments but most of the time we smile!

What a mess

Took my Mom to the airport, went by the store to get milk, eggs and a few other things to past through the week. Well came in Luke screams get upstairs. I'm thinking Lincoln is hurt. Came in and Lincoln is a smurf and the boys bedroom floor is blue. Fun times for sure!

Moms leaving.

Its been a almost a week and my Mom is leaving today.
Its so sad that she's so far away. It can be so hard not having family close to me. We will miss her and the kids have had so much fun. Atticus loved schlitterbaun and the river rides with Greandma Renee. We had lots of playtime and my mom was such a help to me! WOW I felt spoiled . Hope its not 2 years till the next time we see each other.

Saturday at build a bear

Saturday my mom and I took Sasha and her friend Sarah to build a bear. Sarah is Sasha's good friend and she missed her birthday when she was at disney. So we took Sarah to build a bear and a sleepover for her Birthday gift. The girls had so much fun. Plus it was so special for me I don't get much time to spend doing special things with Sasha.

Sasha s friend came over to spend the night tonight. They came down to have ice cream and watched part of our movie with us. The little girl in the movie lost a tooth and and slipped she was going to put a dollar under her pillow. Sasha said no tooth fairy and Sarah said yes then added. Not like moms go put money under your pillow. It was funny

Fun Friday

My mom and I took the boys to chuckEcheeses for lunch today. Oh how much fun they had. The nice thing was is their were not many people on a Friday afternoon.
I am so proud of Lincoln the last few days. He's starting to not run away. He stands by me or my mom and walkes by us.
We may get back to being a normal family again doing things!

Sasha Scouts

Wed night was Sasha's end of the year scout party. She got the last of her rewards. Sasha will have one more troop get together at NASA. Then off to her new troop!

I have to vent

So sorry but sometimes all these appointments are just so much for me. Today Genesis had a apt gone 2.5 hours, Thurs morning a apt it will be 3 hours away. Sometimes 2 or 4 hour apts. in this I'm not adding normal things or what little kids may need to do. This week is nice to have help for this. Paying a sitter for all the times could not happen. And sitting in offices not ment for kids is just so hard. I just have to tell myself its all worth it.

Lincoln with butter

Lincoln found the butter while I was in the rest room getting ready to leave picking up my mom. He was rubbing it all over the floor, then he would get up slip and slide all over and play again. I got a towel and he took it and put it on the mess. He was having a hard time with the slipping around.

My crib wall chalk board is done and hung up. I love it and it was so easy. We are going to paint a chalk heart on sashas wall next

Busy weekend

Sat night we meet everyone at the saltlick for Jasons graduation dinner. We had fun and wow was it nice to get out of the house.
Sat also ran and got paint for the fence. A few bords needed to be replaced and painted and Luke will put them up today.
Sunday will be a work around the house day. Luke will run to lowes to get 8 of the edging posts to make 1 more garden area for us. The old crib I found the rails work great for a gate/rail around the garden need to find one more

Atticus is home

Wow did Atticus miss his brother Lincoln. He got into bed and started rubbing Lincolns head. Oh he's so cute, I love him!
What love , I can not wait till Sat morning when they wake up and see each other.

Meet market

Lincoln and I just got back from placing our first order at the local meet market. Its close and better meat. Just over 100 get 50lbs of meet not bad. If it works out we will be going back, the reviews I read were great.

Meat market

Lincoln and I went to the local meat market this morning.
After reading reviews on their freezer pack we had to give it a try. Just over 100. and you get 50lbs of meat.
Pick up is Saturday after 10am. The bonus is its close and better meat :)

Rain

So much rain the power is flickering in this storm. We sure needed it. Its so dark outside with the drapes its pretty dark in the house. Its so nice putting lincoln down and hearing the rain. Looking for a good book to read

Thunder and lightning

I'm so happy our dog Sarah seems so much more clam now.
Before Loki when we had thunder Sarah would climb all over us in bed. Now they cuddle each other on the floor.
We sure need rain!

I sure miss Atticus and so does Lincoln. Hope he's having fun. We can't wait to see him.

lincoln screamed for the store this morning would not put on shoes.
Tried again after his nap and same thing. I will never get anything done. I'm going to pick up the baby bed parts.

New rocking chair

I took some stuff to the Kyle thirft store this morning. They had this old rocker out back. I asked how much and they said Free! The lady said many had asked about it but never came back with a truck!
They had a old baby bed without side rails. I could get those and make them into a chalk and a white bord for the kids walls. Yes I did see this on a craft site. How fun!

Lincoln

Lincoln is so funny lately. If he does not like the food you give him he just pours it out. He loves eggs in the morning right now. If you give him anything else he dumps it out.
Sasha is getting back in the swing of things. She loved Disney but who could blame her.  Last night her and Genesis spent a lot of time talking. They missed each other a lot.
Atticus is in Houston till Friday, so its Lincoln and me this week. Should be a lot of fun for us.
I need to run to the store, hope its easier with just Lincoln. Im not going to wait till Luke leaves. He take over a hour and half to get ready. Lincoln will be tired by then and we wont make it

Sasha coming home

Sasha is coming home today and Atticus is going to Houston for the week.
I'm sure I will get a lot done. Needing to get rid of a lont in our closet and the hall closet.

Facebook will be no longer used

I am waiting to get all my info downloaded from Facebook then im getting rid of my account.  All photos and updates will be through the blog again.
