Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to the Pumpkin patch with the moms group. Lincoln cried most of the time so it was hard. Atticus had fun and played hard.  They are such sweet boys!

Luke took the kids to the book fair in Austin. Lincoln is sick and slept. So i went out back cut the wood and drilled the holes and put a garden together. So we will have a winter garden. This spring i will build one more and we will have a huge garden.

Last night we went to the store. Atticus wore big boy underware and he did not go till a hour after we got home. A week ago everyone was tired and Atticus fell asleep with big boy pants and did not pee all night. We will be potty trained soon. Hes starting to say diapers are for baby.

atticus our gental giant

Today Atticus was playing outside when I hear him start to scream. I run over to him and he's by the sandbox yelling to get the monster. I'm thinking ants? I look over and its a frog. I tell him its ok it won't hurt him. so we go inside. I open the back door to look out and he says shut the door! I go back out with Sasha and Lincoln and Atticus tries to get Luke to go out to get the monster. Luke had no idea what the monster was. Atticus is a crack up.

No more high chair!

As of tonight Lincoln no longer has a high chair. Lincoln did so well he sat between Luke and I and did not try to get up!

Luke and I got a night out!

How wonderful our Saturday was! Thanks to Grandma and Granddad we got to go tubing down the river and a Toadies show at the end. We went with Jason and Jill and Adam. It was a blast! How amazing it felt to get out and just have fun. Seemed like the old days. Its amazing how lucky I feel to have Luke. we never tire of spending time with each other even after 10 years. We will take you up on the offer to watch kids again so we can go out like this!

well Lincoln is getting 2 more teeth on the bottom. this will make 4 bottom and 4 top. he's going to be able to eat like a big kid.

Sasha's first day of school 2nd grade

Sasha was so excited to go to school. She has a great teacher and this is her first year taking the bus. Lucky us the bus stop is at the stop sign next to the house. No more waking sleeping kids to pick her up from school! She had a hard time choosing outfits but she did not choose the one I thought she would. she is wearing her twinkle toes shoes Aunt Jill got her. she slept in them the first night. She just got home and said she made a lot of new friends. It was a good day!

trying to settle in

Sorry I have been so bad about posting here. Moving has been so hard being sick and all. Somehow I got sick again and it wiped me out. everyone loves the house we planted a few flowers today. I started pulling out the dead palm tree. Lincoln is growing like a weed. He is such a happy boy he amazes me every time I see him. He will do something and he will look over and if you smile and clap. The face he gives is priceless,all you see is smile and a look like I know I Did It! Atticus is so smart ans so aware of what's going on in the house. I see him interact with everyone so diffrent. he's amazing in the way he adaps to his suroundings. no doubt he will be a interesting person as a adult. Sasha is reading up a storm! I sit and write something down and she sits by me and reads it to me. Though she is so woprried about starting a new school. Genesis is having a few life issues and all we can do is hope he sees how much he's loved and how much everyone wants the best for him in the long run. Lukes a pain in the butt like always! So am I so go figure we get along so well he's my rock! I could not do half of what I do without him to be by my side :)
Wish me luck in pulling out the palm tree! no pulled or hurt anything. Oh and sorry with setteling in I don't get on a real computer much at all. Thank goodness for the phone!

First walk with Puppy

This morning was the first time we took the puppy for a walk. Sasha held him and on the way back Atticus held him in the stroller. Sorry no phots I thought life was crazy going to the lark with 3 kids and a dog now 3 kids 2 dogs, a photo was the last thing on my mind.
Lincoln and Atticus love running around in the back yard with Lokie. Its adorable just to see how much fun they have with him is worth everything. At this point I can't want to be in the new house to go to the splash park! it will be a daily thing for us for sure. After lunch wear all the kids out!

we are so lucky

I know I don't say it much but everyday I think it. no matter how things are going in our lives Luke and I are so lucky. We have a great family and children. We have time to enjoy them and we do enjoy and love them. I would never want to trade my life with anyone!

Lincoln is one today!

It does not seem correct that Lincoln is one today. Guess it had to happen at some point. I cried a little yesterday and never did with any other kids. He's our baby! Lincoln and I are going to go have his photo taken today then go and get a cake for tonight. Nothing big at all just us. We still might have a little something for him later but its not for sure. Luke and I are so lucky to have Lincoln.He is a amazing boy so sweet and loving. The photo is Lincoln doing what he loves most getting my computer.

4th july

we went and had lunch at Jill and Jasons with Grandma and Granddad before they had to go back to Houston. we got some fireworks to set off in the back yard. I stayed inside with the scared ones Atticus, Lincoln and the big dog! We grilled burgers and we are off to the Kyle fireworks display.

Grandma and Granddad Lathrop wanted to take kids to seaworld and Lincoln and I came along. It was so fun. Lincoln loved the water splash area we stayed for so long, Atticus and Sasha had a blast its always a great time hanging out for the day with family. i left my phone in the car and no camera so no photos. Im going to ask if i can get some from G Mike!

Lincoln walking

well Lincoln is walking more and more. Its so cute! i will miss his crawling though. Today we all went to see Toy Story and it was so sad but good. Sasha spent the night with aunt Jill and she goes to camp Sunday fathers day. Atticus got to go to the Harley store with Daddy always a great thing for they to do together. Genesis is setteling back in.

our sweet Lincoln

Lincoln took 5 steps 2 nights ago back and forth to Luke and I. he has taken several today and yesterday. we will be walking all the time soon.
Genesis is back as of today and Sasha ans Atticus are so happy. We are all doing great. Atticus today was telling our strawberry plant to grow fast. He ate the ripe ones and I told him we had to wait for more to grow. Im thinking we need 1 more large straaberry pot.

Photo Update

Its raining today and every time it rains Atticus runs out and wants to play. Well this time he went into our bathroom and grabbed a towel first. He would not come back in and it was pouring rain so I has to grab a towel and go and get him. Thank goodness Lincoln was napping.

The top photo I love! When Lincoln gets upset and squeals this is the face he makes. Atticus was touching something Lincoln did not want him to.

Getting ready to move

Saturday Grandma Sherri and Aunt Jill took Sasha and Atticus to Sea World. Atticus Loved it! He got to feed the dolphins and a sea lion jumped out of the water I hear 10 feet high and touched his hand. Atticus also got a shamu truck. I got to hear all about how he would Splash!  Its so sweet that he had so much fun hes so much more aware and can express what he liked then last year. Sasha was impressed by the baby Shamu. Luke and I stayed home taking things apart and fixing things. Mothers day was wonderful! Lincoln started standing from sitting without any assistance from pulling on on anything. He will be walking soon.

I got a wonderful card from Sasha and a call from Genesis. Genesis is doing good in California with my Mom.

Sasha is a Brownie!!!!

Last weekend Sasha had her bridging ceremonies to go from a Daisy scout to Brownie. Mike and Sherri came from Houston to celebrate their granddaughter achievements. They also got to see Lincoln crawl and just hang out with us.  Life has been pretty quiet lately. Its nice having a quiet life.

Lincoln has been crawling and wow does he go now. Hes our sweet little guy always smiling. Atticus has been a great big brother hes always trying to help with Lincoln except he does tend to swing things at him from time to time but we are working on that.
I took the kids to the San Antonio zoo last week. It was a lot of fun it was a little scary with no one to help but we did well. Atticus stayed close and Sasha was a helper with keeping him close. Not a lot of photos from that day. Sasha and I had a Tea Party with the Girl Scouts. We brought GGP's Fiestaware tea cups to use and Sasha wore my Grandmothers necklace. No photos though camera gave out again.

So much to update on

Sasha is almost a Brownie in the girl scouts.
Lincoln has a tooth as of a few weeks ago and as of 2 days ago he is officialy crawling.
Genesis is now with my Mom and Sister in Ca.  We are going to see if things work out better with him living with them. I am hoping for the best.

Atticus is just such a smart kid and still so helpful. The other day Lincoln was sitting and playing and Atticus ran by him and bumped him and down went lincoln.  Atticus went back put out his hand and helped him back up. What love he has for his brother.
Still waiting for the new house and its driving me nuts. All papers are ready to go we are just waiting on the people buying our home.

Next weekend we are going to try to go to Sea World.

NEW HOME

Just got the news we got our new home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are adding 1000sf of space for our large family.

Now for the fun part moving, cant wait :)

Sorry been busy

We are as they may say chugging away. A lot has happened and we have been busy. We sold our home and we find out Monday if we get our new home!
Lincoln is getting so big now. This week all of a sudden hes rolling over all the time and trying to crawl. As soon as we move hes going to be into everything. What timing that will be.
Sasha had a sleep over with Midori Thursday. Grandma and Granddad Lathrop came to visit and help us early last week. Not sure if Luke and I would of surrvied without their help!
Love the photo of Sasha. She had put the toy basket on the dog then put her head in it adn her adn the dog slept like that till we moved her.

Tried it all

I have  tried all the Thai recipes we learned and WOW am I ready for a new class. Thanks to Jill I am trying a gluten free diet for a month. The first day  has been funn but I will figure it out

Thai Cooking

Jill an I took a Thai cooking class on Thurs and I learned so much. Tonight I made drunken noodles and it was so good. Sunday i will be trying more dishes we learned.
Roday Jill and Jason brought Sasha to  a UT basketball game with her scouts. Its so sweet Sasha's relationship with her Aunt Jill reminds me of   mine with my Aunt Gail that just passed away. Gail was a second mom she took me places and did things with me my mom could not. Sasha i so lucky!
Oh and the sleepover at the YMCA went well Friday. Sasha stayed up till 4am.

Genesis is camping this weekend at enchanted rock.   Sure he is having a blast.

Fun and sweet

Every day is a adventure in our family. Sasha had her Valentine party for the scouts.  She got her cookie selling pin it was fun.
Genesis is getting ready for a backpacking trip next weekend. Should be a blast. Though he is having a hard time in school. We have all been young and he may need some encouraging words or advice.

Now Atticus and Lincoln are best buds. Its so cute I have been so busy  getting the house ready to try to sell that things have been a little crazy. Well when I give Atticus a snack he goes and sits down right next to Lincoln. Then Lincoln tries to grab his snack. In the end Lincoln got a orange one day and he loved it.

Party

We had  chocolate fountain, the girls dipped strawberries, rice crispy treats, and marshmallows.
The girls decorated pillowcases and watched movies.
Atticus bounced the night away with his cousin Evie and family. This was so much help. Grandma Sherri's help was so valuable to me. I am so glad it was a small sleep over.  Those girls wore us out. Oh and daddy made balloon animals!
It was fun that we got to do a make up party after all.
