Lincolns First flight

First I have to thank Granddad Mike for coming to watch Atticus and Sasha while I was in California. I was so impressed Monday night he made a roast for dinner. My dad arrived from Montana Monday and Lincoln and I got home around midnight.
Everyone who offered to help us and just hearing your kind words meant so much. I was very fortunate to be able to go to the service for my aunt Gail. They had it by the river and it was a reflection of her life and all she has done. My aunt Gail was a second mom to me when I was growing up.

We got to spend time with Sonja and Joe also. Everyone loved Lincoln but who could resist such a cutie. On the way to the airport I got to go to In n Out burgers oh how I wait for the day we have them in Texas!

Atticus and the cookies

Well this was just to funny. Genesis handed Atticus the jar of cookies and Atticus took them to the table to eat. The jar was half full and he was not going to give it back without a fit. So we played a little game. I would sit next to him and ask for a cookie for Lincoln and myself. After several times the jar was empty. It was cute and fun and he only ate a couple cookies but he did take a bite out of almost every one.

Lincoln's Shots and Jills Birthday

Lincoln had his first set of shots on Friday and they wiped him out. He was tired and fussy for a few days. Genesis had a church sleep over Friday night so I took him and a girl that lives down the street. Jill and Jason watched Lincoln, Atticus and Sasha. Lincoln did not eat well it may of been the shots we have been practicing the bottle for a few weeks now and he ate less that a half a ounce while I was gone. Grandma and Granddad Sherri and Mike were here to watch the kids so Luke and I could go on the ride. Lincoln was not eating, it was raining so I just took Lincoln in the car with Melynda. Evie stayed here with Atticus and Sasha to play the day away.
Luke and Todd were the only crazy ones to ride in the rain to the event. It was a lot of fun to get out they had 2 bands and BBQ and so much fun and so relaxing. Oh and Todd had a gift for putting Lincoln to sleep when he was not feeling well!
Thanks again Mike and Sherri for coming and helping out with the kids :)
It was Jills Birthday so everyone went out to dinner and had cake. It was a fun day all around.
Sunday was relaxing Genesis slept till 11am and we all just hung out and did nothing.
Sunday night my Mom called and left a message that my aunt Gail passed away. We are going to see if I can make it out as soon as I hear more. My aunt Gail was like a Mom to me when I was young.

Atticus Potty Update

Its the mom in me but I am so proud of Atticus. This morning while I was in the kitchen he went PooPo in the potty all by himself. He has been going potty unless he has a diaper on so we have Mr naked boy most days.
While waiting for the video to post Atticus went Poo again! Potty trained before 2 I am so happy!
Lincoln is starting to coo and talk. Its adorable hes so sweet.
Lincoln got scratched below the eye by the cat. It looks terrible but he did not cry when it happened. He was lying on the bed and the cat jumped up. Not good,
Lincoln is now 9 weeks old!

Daddy Gone

Luke left last night for training in Chicago and he will be back Friday night. Not much happened this past weekend Sasha went to Jills on Saturday and Sunday Genesis and Sasha went to church with jill. Sasha got a kitty that you get to name a star from Jill and Jason. She loves her kitty its sweet.
Luke got Skype set up so we can see him when he calls while hes gone.
Lincoln is growing so big and he just wasnts to move he is going to get into everything. He does not like the car at all its so hard.
I am also excited about the fact that my sister might be coming out to see me. Its just been a good week everything seems to be going so well.

Photos today

This morning I took Lincoln to get his photo taken. He did wonderful and Atticus kept coming over and kissing him on the head so we got a cute one of them both. They had a set up for a Harley so next Wed we go back for Atticus to have his photo taken. Then we all need to get in for a family photo again now that we have Lincoln. Last night we went to a girl scout meet up hoping to find a more active troop for Sasha. Well they are short leaders and if I can find help I will become a leader. So lets hope I can find the help I would need! Lincoln is becoming more aware of things everyday and he is so sweet and loving. Luke are I are so lucky in so many ways.
Our dear Atticus is as silly and sweet as ever he was having fun in the bath the other night and could not resist a photo. Tonight is the movie in the park so lets hope we remember this time we never made it this year and this is the last time they are going it this year. Only bad thing it might rain! Saturday is the Kyle market and the HS is having a blood drive might run over and give blood its been a while Oh and it looks like Luke and I both get to go on the ride next weekend! Mike and Sherri are going to come over from Houston to watch the kids.

Atticus Potty

I am so proud of Atticus. We got the potty for him a few months ago and he has used it a few times. Well today Mr Naked Atticus used his potty every time except for one accident and that was in the start of the day. It will be fun to see if he keeps it up but its so exciting to see him so ready to go potty like a big boy. Hes 20 months and thats young so we are not pushing it but it would still be nice.

Atticus Dentist

Well Atticus had his first appointment with the Dentist this morning. He did well for his first time he only cried a little and the Dr was great. He said that Atticus teeth looked good and the enamel looks strong and to come back in 6 months to check things again. No cleanings till hes around 3 could be 2 if he sits still so we will see.
Lincoln is growing like a weed and hes still the sweetest baby ever. He does not like the car much at all we usually make it close to home but we have to sit in the car to feed him before we can leave. Sasha was the same way, thank goodness for Atticus he does well in the car.
This morning we had our living room carpet cleaned and it needed it! Last night we had to put all the furniture in the kitchen. Well this morning when I gave Atticus his breakfast he was confused about what to do. He climbed all over on the table found a chair and sat to eat. It was so cute as I was going for the camera the door bell rang and the photo was gone, Atticus came out to help get the door.
