Trip to California

Our trip to California was fun. Though I will never do it alone again Atticus did not like having to sit still for 3.5 hours. So next time I have to wait till Luke can go with us.
We went out to Sonja and Joes and went swimming and Atticus and Sasha got to ride a horse with cousin Jarrod's and Aunt Ashlees help.
Grandma Renee and Ashlee brought the kids to Mickeys Grove zoo for the day. The got to see all the animals and rode on the rides.
Aunt Gail came by to see Sasha and Atticus. She then took Sasha with her to get her hair done and Sasha came back with a beautiful braid.
They played at ChuckEcheese, funworks and at the local park.
Friday night Aunt Janis came by and took everyone out to dinner then ice cream.
On Saturday we went to San Francisco for the day and we went to China town and Pier 39 then to the hotel to get in some swimming before bed.
We had fun and it was exciting to see everyone again.

Well I am getting excited and scared about the trip to Ca tonight. Hope Atticus does well so we will see!

Genesis Birthday SeaWorld

Saturday everyone went to Seaworld for Genesis Birthday. Jill asked what Genesis wanted and he said lunch with Shamu and he allowed for us to follow along. Genesis, Sasha and Atticus got to pet the dolphins and penguins. Lunch with Shamu was a lot of fun Atticus loved watching the killer whales swim by as we all ate.
Atticus was on the go and his uncle Jason and Aunt Jill really helped chase after him.
Jill and Sasha and Genesis went on wet rides even Luke went on one with Sasha then Atticus. Atticus got a little scared after a while on the penguin ride with daddy.
Sunday we had pizza and ice cream cake and opened gifts. Genesis decided to celebrate on Sunday rather than his Birthday on Monday the 20th. Luke and I got him 2 coins he really wanted the Morgan dollar and Peace dollar, Luke is also starting to build him a new computer.

On Tuesday Genesis got his 1st and 2nd class rank along with 6 Merritt badges.

To earn his star rank all he needs to do is community service for 6 hours. He will have his Eagel by 16 or 17 at this rate.

Easter 2009 Fredericksburg

Easter was so much fun this year. We went to Great Grandmas in Fredricksburg and everyone came. Aunts, Uncles, Grandmas , Granddads and Great Grandma. We went up in the afternoon on Saturday while Atticus was napping Sasha and Genesis rode up with Jill, Jason,Grandma and Granddad. We colored easter eggs that night and Sasha did a great job. Atticus wanted to help but he got to play with the candy filled plastic eggs and he was happy.
Sunday morning Sasha went to church with everyone. Baby Evie was so cute all dressed up in her easter outfit. Sasha loves Evie and cant get enough of her and all she wants to do is be near her and play with her. Our Easter meal was wonderful as it always is everyone is always so happy during the holidays.
After lunch the Genesis bunny came and put the eggs out. Sasha loved hunting for the eggs and Atticus was happy to have one with candy and then when that candy was gone he would get another.
We headed home and arrived about 4pm. This Easter was fun and as it looks the last Holiday that we will go to Fredericksburg.

OK Sasha had her Easter egg hunt at school today.
Atticus was playing with the eggs he walked in with on over his nose. I asked Sasha if she showed him that and she wanted to know what I was talking about.
Our Atticus is a nut just like Sasha is.

Sasha went over to Madori's yesterday to play for a while and Kat sent this photo. It was cute.

Busy Weekend

Saturday morning we went over to Home Depot for the kids workshop. Sasha and Atticus built birdhouses with a open back so they can be hung on the window to view the bird. Sasha is quite the little builder and Atticus is getting the hang of it. Genesis stayed at home and played his game. When we got back we just relaxed for the rest of the day.

Sunday we got up and we were all on the move. Lots of working in the yard. Genesis mowed the yard for us. I planted one more apple tree a family favorite. Sasha, Atticus and I went to Lowes and got stuff for Sasha to have her own flower garden. It in the back by her fort and she picked out a rose bush and lots of flowers for the area. I will be adding photos of Sasha with her garden later. We got busy with Daddy's project of making the teeter-totter. It turned out so well and Sasha is so excited. Her friend and her were trying to make on last month and it was time she had one of her own. It looks great he is going to put a longer board and handles for it. Also I will add photos later.

We have all been busy in the yard. Genesis is planting corn for a plant science maret badge and we planted sunflower seeds. and more watermelon. The kids are having fun with the garden.

Genesis April Fools

Well Genesis loves April 1st so much and he reads what happens around the world on april fools every year. I have never played a prank on his in all these years so this was the year.
Last night I taped the sprayer on the sink faucet so when he went to rinse his bowl it sprayed out.
When I made his lunch last night I put green food coloring in his Peanut butter and blue in his salsa for his chips and dint blame him if he didnt eat it it looked gross.
Cupcakes with tabasco in the frosting just for him everybody else will get plain.
I found a fake chore chart that is funny to put on his door and a letter stating he owes taxes on his past allowance.

My Mr. Atticus is sick

Mr Man is sick at first I thought it was teething he is getting in 4 new teeth all at once. Last night he could not sleep had a fever and he just wanted to be held. He was sweet though he was talking most of the night and patting me on the shoulder. This morning he ate cereal and just wanted to be held. Hes a big boy and is drinking a lot of juice and still eating so hes doing well and just needs to be cuddled.
