And this one is for you Penny a photo with me in it with Atticus. You posted a few weeks ago about how I was never in the photos with my kids and I agree with you we need more I get tired of not being in photos with my own kids. Seems like everyone else always is. Guess I would never have photos if I was not the one taking the photos.

Atticus walking

Here is Atticus walking again we are proud but he is better than this video now this was the day before Thanksgiving. He is getting so big now and in 2 weeks he will be a year old. He will be a early talker he mimics what we say. He loves to say Dog, Kitty, Dada and Mama. Oh and Uh Oh has been the favorite especially when he drops things for you to pick up.

Thanksgiving

Well Thanksgiving was fun we went to Jill and Jasons. The food was good who could ask for more. Atticus loved the sugar cookies and everyone kept feeding them to him. The worst part was that they were blue and purple frosting. It was a full house grandparents and Great grandma and lots of family. Sasha had fun playing and the mistletoe was a hit but the steered clear of it. Genesis finally got to see Wall-E so he was happy. When we got home my Mom got sick we think she caught something on the plane . Now Luke is sick so we are hoping no one else gets it.

Well yesterday Atticus and I picked up Grandma Renee from the airport. Sasha and Genesis have been so happy to have her. Genesis has been telling her jokes and Sasha has been coloring. Atticus thinks shes sun to dance around with. My Mom brought lefse and I am so happy its great. Friday our plan is to make more I want to get practice making it. I was reading on how to make it thicker and use it to wrap hot dogs so might do that in the future. Enough of me going on about lefse as you can tell I am happy.
We are having fun not doing much my Mom is just getting to see the kids and that was what she wanted to do.

Monday Thanksgiving lunch with Sasha

Well today was the Thanks giving lunch with Sasha and it was not to bad for school food. Sasha ate her lunch from home as always. As with every holiday I like to bring something to Sasha's school that is fun. So we made turkey cup cakes and they were a hit.

Renaissance Festival Houston

Friday night after Luke got home from work we drove to Houston and spent the night with Grandma and Granddad. In the morning we drove to the Renaissance Festival to have a day of fun. We had a blast! Atticus loved watching all the people and had fun with Grandma and Granddad. Sasha got her face painted and rode on rides and just had fun and Genesis even had a blast he got to shoot a bow and arrow. Grandam helps make head wear out of vines that were a hit.

The first one is great everyone is looking around for something even Sasha.

Atticus walks

Tonight after dinner Luke put Atticus down on the floor and Atticus Stood up and took several steps to him. He did it twice right in a row and I could not find the camera. We got him showing off his balancing skills and taking his steps. He is such a big kid now our little man is growing up. He will be talking next. We understand Kitty and dog who knows what will be next.

Here is our dear Atticus showing off his walking skills. HE takes hie walker and reverses it and turns. This boy can walk no problem so we are saying any day now. Today he several times let go and took one step then fell forward to what he was going to grab on to. Sasha has been practicing writing sentences every day. We are so proud of her and we got her first report card on Friday and it was all S's. The highest you can get in Kindergarten. I have to tell you Genesis has been doing great this week. He has been helpful and more at ease, he just seems happier. Altogether this weekend was a relaxing one, we swam on Saturday and enjoyed each others company on Sunday.

Sasha's Night out with Mom and Dad

Well aunt Jill and uncle Jason took Genesis for the night. Sasha got a night just for her and she got to choose what she wanted to do and that was Gatti Town/ Daddy rode on the drop coaster ride and the bumper cars. Atticus had a blast and just walked around and looked at everything.

Well tonight while I was making dinner and I must not of shut the fridge all the way. I look over and here if Atticus standing inside looking for food. He likes to eat at 5:30 and I must of been slow he was getting into the queso dip and he liked it.
On the walking still a no but Atticus just stands and you can see it in his eyes he wants to its just hard for a little guy. I will try to get him on video of his standing and posture like hes going to crawl.

OK I was changing Atticus and he went after Sarah. Its just to sweet how he climbs all over her and hugs her.

Sasha Veterans Day

Sasha had a Veterans Day production Monday night. As you can see she really puts her heart into singing. My video work got a little bouncy from laughing. Atticus had fun Sasha's teacher gave him a American flag and he thought that was a fun toy. And Atticus is just about to walk he stands from squatting without any assistance when he stands he lunges forward he just needs to take a step.

Sasha Rides Bike

Well Sasha out grew her 12in bike and the 20 in bike that she won over the summer was just to big. So we found a 16in on crags list and its a fit. We have to work on her not using training wheels.
Our little Atticus is still building up to walking. He has been strong enough from the day he was born. Well close to it we are waiting. HE has almost perfected his throwing of the ball. Atticus still Loves pizza and all the good stuff. Sasha was teaching Atticus how to draw a few days ago.

Girls night out

Friday night was girls night out at Sasha's school. We had nails doe ate pizza and played in the gym. At the end was a dance off them we went home. Sasha had so much fun. She loved having time just me and her. The worst part of the night was when I realized that I left the camera at home.
Saturday Luke took Genesis and two scout members to San Antonio to a archaeological dig. They had fun and they found some things. Again camera was left at home. Not a good weekend for photos.
While the boys were gone Sasha Atticus and I went to the local YMCA and went swimming and it was so much fun. Atticus had a blast and so did Sasha. Its only 10 mins away on a back road so its close. Our plan is to have a swim party at the Y for Sasha this year. Atticus will have cake at home with the family. They say to keep it small for babies first year or its to overwhelming.

I am back

Well this week has been a crazy one with Genesis so I just never got around to posting anything.
Atticus is our happy baby like always and this is the cutest photo ever to prove it. The video is from when we were outside 2 days ago and Atticus was trying to climb his slide and got mad and started to cry. So I put him up then the melted and started crying. . Its sad but still our cute little Atticus.

Update on Atticus

Well the Dr said Atticus had a reaction to the fact he was bitten by a swarm of fire ants. Today you can tell his foot is swollen and you can see all the 40-50 bite marks he has them in between his toes on his foot up his leg and his other foot was not as bad. Atticus has been bitten before but not by that many. Atticus did not have a normal reaction by any means so we are going to get a referral to a allergist to see if thats what it was.

Well just wanted to update on Atticus he is doing fine as of 8:30pm. The Dr said that if the reaction would come back it would of been within the first 4 hours.

Sunday Strange day

This morning the family walked to the park to set off rockets. Wow was that fun, even Atticus had a blast. Sasha was our launch girl and Genesis was recovery on his bike.
Our neighbors had a Hillbilly birthday party for the mom and daughter. Everyone dressed up and they had a band the Mc Mercy family band playing and a clown it was huge. Well our Atticus gave us a scare we will never forget. He was playing in the grass for a while and then I was holding him and he had all these bumps all over his face. I tell Luke and he said go home slash some water on it and put some medicine on it. So I go home and its now on the other side and hes crying and acting real tired. I call Luke to come home and by then Atticus is hardly staying awake. I am waiting for a call back from the Dr when she calls she said go to Dell medical then she calls back call 911. Atticus is lethargic not doing well at all. 911 is called and they come within 5 mins and Atticus is fine again. The EMT said his breathing is fine and his skin looks fine etc. He had a allergic reaction to something we dont know what it was. We are to keep a eye on him to make sure that it does not come back with a reaction it can come back within a few hours. We will go to the Dr first thing in the morning to have him looked at. The Dr on call said that allergies usually appear around the age of 1 and they may recommend us keeping a shot with us just in case something happens so we could help him if his airways should become restricted.
We went to CVS and got some benedrill and gave it to him and we all went back to the party until it was nap time.
Our little Atticus is our little one who is scaring us to death.

Texas book festival

Saturday has been fun. Last night Jill and Jason invited everyone over for breakfast of pumpkin pancakes eggs and bacon. WOW was it good I will be making pumpkin pancakes on a regular basis now. After we were done Grandma, Granddad and all of us went over to the to Texas book festival. This was the second year and its a great thing for the kids to attend. They hold it downtown right at and around the capitol building. Atticus got to crawl around on the grass while we had lunch. Sasha got to make herself a fun paper hat and Genesis got to meet his favorite author for I think the 4th time. We are so lucky to live so close to a city that is so family friendly.

Halloween

Well Halloween was a blast. Atticus was Donald Duck and Sasha was Sally and Daddy was Jack. We had the best door man scaring the kids and giving out treats. We had fun Grandma and Grandad came and so did aunt Jill and uncle Jason to join us in our celabrations. It was sweet Sasha went out trick or treating and came home changed her clothes into the pink outfit and said she wanted to go out again. So grandma took her out again. Atticus had fun looking at all the kids dressed up but he was not happy in his own costume. Next year will be even more fun.
